MLM or Network Marketing can be an extremely lucrative business. However, if you are struggling to generate leads for your business, it can be more frustrating than anything else.
Well, then what’s the answer?
Should You Buy MLM Leads?
Definitely not!
The reality is that the vast majority of MLM leads aren’t really serious about starting their own network marketing business. They are mostly tire kickers and you will end up spending a lot of wasted time and energy with no real results in the end. People who buy MLM leads rarely get the results they desire.
What Can You Do Instead?
Two things.
First. Learn attraction marketing.
Second. Learn who your target market is.
Attraction Marketing is based on the concept that you provide value and leadership to your target market and they will seek you out, not the other way around.
There is nothing more frustrating than chasing down prospects. The key with attraction marketing is that you become a leader, brand yourself as that leader and then provide value and leadership to your prospects.
That’s the crash course.
But I highly recommend that you become a student of attraction marketing if you are not already, because it will change your entire business. It will make your business a lot more enjoyable and a lot less frustrating.
Alright, so now we need to discuss your target market. Well, this group is made up of only two types of people and it doesn’t include your friends and family, or the guy you ran into at the grocery store.
Now, I’m not saying that absolutely no one in your circle of friends or your family is going to be interested in your business. I’m just saying you are not going to be building a very successful business if you only sponsor your Aunt Edna.
You have to think bigger. Much bigger.
Rather than wasting time and money on buying MLM leads, try generating your own by really focusing on your two target markets, which are:
1. Other network marketers. This is tough for some to understand at first. It was for us too, but once you understand it, everything changes.
They don’t need to be sold. They don’t need to be convinced. They already get it. It’s important that you are marketing yourself correctly using the principles of attraction marketing, rather than marketing your business upfront.
2. People who are actively looking for a business opportunity. Remember, it’s highly unlikely that your whole family is looking for a business opportunity, so you need to market to the people who are. It’s important to look for prospects who are already looking for what you have to offer, otherwise your marketing efforts will fall on deaf ears (and irritate the people you’re trying to sell to).
You will need to do some research and really become a student of marketing to do this effectively, but it will open up an endless amount of leads for you if you are willing to do the work.
The bottom line here is that with the amount of people out on the internet every single day, there are ways to generate more leads than you will know what to do with for your business.
So, in the end, our advice is don’t buy MLM leads unless you want to waste your time, energy and money. At the end of the day, you won’t have anything to show for it, except for days filled with aggravating phone calls!
